CSBR – Pre-Coloured Recycled Rubber Crumb

CSBR (Coloured Styrene-Butadiene Rubber) is a pre-coloured recycled rubber granule designed for use in wetpour rubber playground surfacing systems. Manufactured from recycled tyre rubber, each granule is coated with quality resins and pigments to provide a consistent, vibrant colour finish. The granules are mixed with a polyurethane binder on site and applied as the coloured wear layer of a seamless rubber softfall surface.

Available in a wide range of individual colours and multi-colour blends, CSBR offers a versatile option for creating colourful, practical outdoor spaces. It is commonly used in playgrounds, recreational areas, pathways, pool surrounds and other applications where a durable, slip-resistant rubber surface is desired. At Bruce’s Playgrounds, we can help you explore colour combinations to complement your playground design and surrounding environment.

A Sustainable Surfacing Choice – CSBR incorporates recycled tyre rubber, helping to give used materials a new purpose and supporting the circular economy. By reusing rubber that might otherwise be sent to landfill, this material helps reduce waste and the demand for virgin resources. It provides an alternative for projects looking to incorporate recycled materials into their outdoor surfacing solutions.

EPDM – Pre-Coloured Rubber Crumb

EPDM Rubber granules are a virginised manufactured product specifically designed for use in rubber wet pour safety surfacing. A huge colour range is available enabling you to create unique patterns and themes.

EPDM rubber is laboratory produced and cast into slabs then processed through a granulating and grading plant which sizes the product into 1-4mm granules and removes the granulation dust under 1mm thus giving an increased spread rate. EPDM has the characteristics of even higher elasticity and extremely resilient performance. The pigments used in the EPDM compound were selected to provide a wide range of 18 exciting colours. EPDM is widely used in the rubber playground industry. Bright vivid colours, high UV resistance, excellent flexibility and 18 colours to choose from.
